Financial Aid FAQs
Yes, you can receive financial aid every year. However, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for each academic year in order to receive financial assistance.
If you have any financial aid remaining after the fall and spring semesters, it may be applied toward courses during summer terms.

The FAFSA is available for the next academic year on Oct. 1. We strongly recommend that you apply for financial aid as soon as possible.
No, Emmanuel College does not offer any institutional scholarships or grants to online students.

Yes, we strongly recommend that you complete the FAFSA even if you think you do not qualify for any financial assistance. There may be financial aid programs that you are eligible for but are unaware of.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid, also known as the FAFSA, is the form that needs to be completed each academic year in order for you to receive federal and state loans, grants and scholarships to help fund your online education.
Emmanuel College’s financial aid process is simple. You must first complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) using our school code (002147). Once we receive your information, we will determine which financial assistance you are eligible for. For information about the financial aid process, visit our Financial Aid page.
When completing the FAFSA, you should use the information from your federal tax returns for two years prior. For example, for the 2019–2020 academic year, you should use your 2017 tax return information. For information about the financial aid process, visit our Financial Aid page.
If you have financial aid funds left over after they are applied toward your tuition costs, you may use them for your textbooks and supplies. However, there is no guarantee that your books and supplies will be covered by your financial aid awards.
